You can disconnect a contact file or a CRM connection (HubSpot, Apollo.io, Dealfront) at any time. Disconnecting deletes everything PPCmate copied from that source.
How to disconnect
- Go to Audiences → Connect Audience Data.
- Under CRM & B2B data, click the connected source and choose Disconnect. You can also open the source and click Disconnect at the bottom.
- Confirm: "Disconnect? The key is erased and the audience is deleted, also from Google, Microsoft and Meta."
You'll see "Disconnected: key erased, audience deleted".
What gets deleted
- Your key or token: erased from our database.
- The audience and every hashed e-mail we stored for it.
- The copies on Google, Microsoft and Meta: we remove the list from each network it was used on. The networks process the removal on their side, which can take a little while.
What doesn't change
- Your data in HubSpot, Apollo.io or Dealfront. PPCmate only reads from them and never writes or deletes anything there. To fully revoke access, also delete the private app or API key in that tool.
- Your campaigns stay as they are, but a campaign that used the deleted list under Only these people has no list to show ads to anymore. Pick another list, or switch to Everyone.
- Credits already used at Dealfront aren't refunded by Dealfront.
Pause instead of delete?
If you only want to stop updates, there's no need to disconnect. For a new key, use Reconnect. To stop using the list in a campaign, change Show ads to in the campaign's Customer Lists section.
Troubleshooting
- "Could not disconnect": try again in a minute. If it keeps failing, contact support and we'll remove it for you.
- The list still shows on a network for a short time: removal on Google, Microsoft and Meta is processed by each network and can lag behind.
