CRM connections (HubSpot, Apollo.io, Dealfront) copy your chosen list into a PPCmate audience. Here's how updates work.
Daily or Once
When you connect, choose Updates:
- Daily (recommended): the list is re-read once a day. People added to the list are added to the audience. People removed from the list are dropped from the audience at the next update.
- Once: the list is copied one time and then stays as it is.
Contact files show On upload: they change only when you upload a new file.
The first update
Right after Connect, the source shows Preparing…. Your contacts are saved and the audience is being set up, which takes a few minutes. There's nothing to do. Then the networks match the list (up to 48 hours, see Customer list statuses on Google, Microsoft and Meta and what to do).
Sync now
Open the source (Manage) and click Sync now to update right away, for example after you add a batch of contacts. The panel shows People, when it was last Updated, and the schedule.
Reconnect
A red Reconnect tag means the provider rejected your key, because it was deleted, expired, rotated or lost its permissions.
- Create a new key or token in the tool (see Connect HubSpot: sync a HubSpot contact list to your audiences, Connect Apollo.io: sync a saved Apollo contact list or Connect Dealfront: sync a Dealfront contact list).
- In PPCmate, open the source and click Reconnect.
- Paste it under New key and click Save key. An update starts right away.
Your campaigns keep using the last good list while a source needs reconnecting.
Needs you
The last update failed for another reason, for example a deleted list or no Dealfront credits left. Hover over the tag for the reason, fix it, then click Sync now.
To stop syncing completely, see Disconnecting a data source: what gets deleted.
