Connect Dealfront: sync a Dealfront contact list

Connect a Dealfront (Leadfeeder) contact list with your own API key. PPCmate reads only the e-mail addresses, hashes them on arrival and refreshes the list every day. You can then use it on Google, Microsoft and Meta like any other customer list.

Credits: Dealfront charges 1 credit per contact that hasn't been opened in your Dealfront account in the last 12 months. This is Dealfront's charge, not PPCmate's, and the connect form warns you before you connect. Daily updates only use credits for contacts that are new to the list or haven't been opened for 12 months.

1. Create an API key in Dealfront

  1. In Dealfront, go to Personal settings → API keys → Create API key.
  2. Your user needs the "Manage API keys and use API" right. Ask your Dealfront admin if you don't see the option.
  3. Copy the key.

2. Connect it in PPCmate

  1. Go to Audiences → Connect Audience Data. Under CRM & B2B data, click Connect on Dealfront (Leadfeeder).
  2. Paste the key into API key and click Check key.
  3. Under List, choose a contact list.
  4. Check the Audience name and the E-mail field.
  5. Under Updates, choose Daily or Once. Choose Once if you want to control credit use.
  6. Tick the permission box and click Connect.

3. Use the list

The audience appears on the Audiences page. Pick it in a campaign's Customer Lists section, under Show ads to. See Customer lists: upload a list and use it on Google, Microsoft and Meta.

Troubleshooting

  • "Preparing…": the audience is being set up. This takes a few minutes, and there's nothing to do.
  • "Connected · too small": Google, Microsoft and Meta need at least 300 people in a list.
  • "Reconnect": Dealfront refused the key. Click Reconnect, paste a new key and click Save key. Campaigns keep using the last good list.
  • "Needs you": the last update failed, for example because your Dealfront credits ran out. Hover for the reason, top up credits in Dealfront if needed, then click Sync now.
  • Only company lists, no contact lists: the connector reads contact lists (people with e-mails). Lists of companies can't be used.

Using ZoomInfo? A direct ZoomInfo connection is coming later. For now, export the list from ZoomInfo as a CSV and upload it as a contact file: see Contact list file (CSV): format and upload.

To stop syncing, see Disconnecting a data source: what gets deleted.
