Your campaigns only run while your balance can pay for them. When the balance runs out, delivery stops. Here's how we warn you before that happens, and how to keep campaigns running without interruption.
Balance alerts
- Low balance: when your balance drops below $10, you get an email ("Low balance on PPCmate") and a Low balance warning in the notification bell.
- Zero balance: when it reaches zero, you get an email ("Your PPCmate balance is empty") and a Balance empty — campaigns paused notice in the bell.
The emails go to the address on your account, so keep it current and check that our mail isn't landing in spam. You can switch each email on or off under Edit Profile → Email notifications. The bell notices stay on either way. See Notifications and email settings.
Why campaigns pause just before $0
Spend is confirmed a few moments after it happens. To make sure you're never charged beyond what you've deposited, delivery stops while a small reserve (a few dollars) is still on your balance. Fast-spending accounts keep a slightly larger reserve. The unused amount stays on your balance and is spent once you top up.
Topping up
Click Add Funds in the top bar. Card, FastSpring, PayPal, crypto and Revolut are credited once the payment goes through. Wise, Payoneer and Capitalist transfers are credited once they arrive. Auto-Reload: never run dry
On the Add Funds page, the Auto-Reload card tops up your balance from a saved card whenever it runs low.
- Click Set up Auto-Reload.
- Set When my balance drops below, Add this amount (minimum $50) and Never charge more than this per month.
- Click Continue to add card and save your card on Stripe's secure page.
Good to know:
- At most one reload every 24 hours, and never more than your monthly limit. The limit resets on the 1st.
- Each reload shows up in the bell ("Auto-reload: $… added"), in Reload history, and in your billing history and invoices.
- If the card is declined three times, has expired, or the monthly limit is reached, Auto-Reload pauses and the card tells you what to fix. You'll also get a heads-up before a saved card expires.
- Use the switch on the card to turn it off at any time, or Edit rule to change the amounts.
If your campaigns already stopped
Add funds and your campaigns resume. You don't need to rebuild anything. If they don't pick up within a few minutes, run Campaign Health Check, since balance may not have been the only thing holding them back.
Avoiding the interruption
- Keep a buffer above your daily spend rather than topping up to the exact amount, or turn on Auto-Reload.
