Notifications and email settings

PPCmate keeps you posted in two ways: the notification bell in the top bar, and emails to the address on your account. You decide which emails you get. The bell always keeps the full record.

The notification bell

  • The bell shows a badge with your unread count. The same count appears in your browser tab's title.
  • Click the bell to see the latest messages. Click one to open it, which marks it read. Use Mark all read to clear the badge, or View all for the full Notifications page, where you can also delete messages.
  • A short chime plays when a new notification arrives while PPCmate is open. To turn it off, go to Edit Profile → In the app → Notification sound. The setting follows your account to every device.
  • If you use the PPCmate app for Android, most notifications also reach your phone.

What shows up in the bell

  • Money: low balance, balance empty (campaigns paused), payment received, deposit bonus credited, Auto-Reload top-ups, and any balance change made by our team.
  • Campaigns: creative approved or refused, insertion order daily budget or total budget reached, an Automated Rule firing, landing-page guard alerts, and campaigns not getting traffic (see below).
  • AI and account: your AI Search list is ready, AI Strategist insights, replies to feedback you sent, and account activated or deactivated.

"Campaign not getting traffic" alerts

If a live campaign hasn't had a single impression for 24 hours, we tell you in the bell and by email. We say why, in the same words as Campaign Health Check (for example, the bid is too low to win, it's below the minimum price, or too little traffic matches the targeting), and what to change. Each campaign has an Edit campaign link.

  • This covers Pop-under, Push, Native, Display and Video, plus Google Search, Google Display, Microsoft Search, Facebook, Instagram and ChatGPT campaigns.
  • If several campaigns are quiet at the same time, you get one email that lists them all.
  • While a campaign stays quiet, we remind you about it at most once every 3 days.
  • We don't send it for campaigns that are in review, paused, ended, or stopped for lack of balance or budget. Those have their own alerts. We also wait until a campaign has run unchanged for a full day, so a campaign you just edited isn't flagged.

Choosing your emails

Open Edit Profile (click your profile picture in the top right) and scroll to Email notifications. Each email has its own checkbox:

Group Emails
Balance & payments Low balance · Zero balance · Payment success · Balance added by admin · Balance subtracted by admin
Campaigns & creatives Creative status change · Campaign not getting traffic
Insertion orders Daily goal reached · Total goal reached
Account Profile updated

Under Security, the Sign-in alerts switch controls the email we send when your account is signed in from a device we haven't seen before. We recommend leaving it on. See Keeping your account secure.

Click Save changes at the bottom of the page. Switching an email off stops only the email. The notice still appears in the bell. New emails are switched on by default and always get their own checkbox here.

Automated Rules can also email you (or call a webhook) when they fire. You set that up on each rule.

Staying up to date with new features

Click your profile picture in the top right. At the top of the panel, Last update shows the date of our latest release, with a dot if there's something you haven't seen yet. Click it to open Release Notes: everything we've shipped, newest first. These are the same notes as on ppcmate.com/releases.

Not getting our emails? Check your spam folder and that the email on your account is current, then contact support.
