Creating a campaign with the AI Campaign Wizard

The AI Campaign Wizard builds a complete campaign, ad included, from your landing page. It reads your page, suggests a bid, a daily budget and the countries, writes the ad and can draw the images for it. You check everything before anything is created.

Where to find it: go to Campaigns and click the ✨ sparkle button (AI Wizard) right next to New Campaign.

The steps

  1. Your Page — enter a Campaign Name and your Landing Page URL. If you leave the name empty, the wizard takes one from your page. When you click Next, the wizard checks that it can read the page. If it can't, it tells you so right away. Use the public page, not one behind a login.
  2. Ad Format — pick one format for this campaign, or choose Let AI choose and the AI picks the one that suits your page best. Want a second format? Run the wizard again.
  3. The Goal — choose Sales, Leads or Traffic. Then check the bid (Bid per click or Bid per 1,000 views (CPM)), the Daily budget and the Countries. Each format's minimum daily budget is shown next to the field. The Forecast line updates as you change the numbers.
  4. Creative — the ad itself (Pop-under skips this step: your page is the ad). Edit any text the AI wrote, or click ✨ Rewrite for new wording. For image formats, click ✨ Generate the ad, which shows its price on the button, and then pick the variant you like.
  5. Launch — click ✨ Build My Campaign. For Pop-under this button is on The Goal step.

You can go Back at any step. Ads you've already generated are kept.

Formats the wizard can build

Format How the ad is made
Pop-under Your landing page is the ad, so there's nothing to design
Google Search The AI writes 3 headlines, 2–3 descriptions and your keywords. All of them are editable.
Push, Native, Display Text and images are generated for you. Display gets one design in 300x250, 728x90 and 320x50.
Google Display, Google Demand Gen, Google PMax, ChatGPT, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads Images are generated for you. The texts are written into fields you can edit.
Video Everything is prepared except the video, which you upload in the ad form after the wizard

Microsoft Search isn't in the wizard yet. Create it with New Campaign.

What gets created

  • One campaign named your name · format. It covers all the countries you picked, has your daily budget and bid, starts today and has an end date 30 days out. You can change any of this later on the campaign page.
  • The ad, which goes through the usual review. The campaign starts as soon as the ad is approved.
  • Conversion tracking when your goal is Sales or Leads. The wizard creates a tracker and adds clickid={CLICK_ID} to your landing page. On the Launch screen, click Setup Sales Tracking (or Setup Lead Tracking) to get the postback URL to call when someone buys or signs up.

The wizard never switches on AI Optimization, because it adds a fee. You can turn it on yourself on the campaign later.

The Launch screen shows your daily budget, bid and number of countries, with Open campaign and Create another. If something would stop delivery, a note explains it there.

Video, and sometimes Google Demand Gen or PMax when no logo can be taken from your page, finishes with one more step. Click Finish the … ad and the ad form opens with everything filled in. Add the missing file, then save the campaign that follows. If you close the wizard before finishing, it offers the unfinished ad the next time you open it.

What it costs

  • The wizard itself is free. Reading your page, the plan, the texts and Rewrite cost nothing.
  • Generated images are charged to your balance at the price shown on the Generate the ad button. You're only charged if the generation finishes. If it fails, nothing is charged.
  • Once the campaign runs, you pay for your traffic as usual.

Tips

  • Use the real landing page you'll send traffic to. The ad texts are based on what's on it.
  • If the wizard says a page can't be read, try the public page without a login or pop-up wall.
  • Prefer to set everything by hand? Use New Campaign — see the New Campaign Guide.
