Your campaign's quality receipt

The Quality Receipt shows, for one campaign, what you got for your money over the last 7 days: how much traffic we refused and did not charge you for, how viewable your ads were, what kind of sites they ran on, and where your budget went.

Where to find it

  • Campaigns list: click the shield icon in the Actions column (tooltip Quality Receipt). The full receipt opens in a side panel.
  • Campaign page: open a campaign and look for the Quality Receipt (last 7 days) card, below Where your ads run. Click Open Full Receipt for the full view.

Which campaigns have one

Receipts cover campaigns on our own ad formats: Pop-under, Push, Display, Native and Video.

Google, Microsoft, ChatGPT, Facebook and Instagram campaigns run on those partners' own platforms, so we have no placement-level data to put on a receipt. On those rows the shield is greyed out and shows Not Available.

When it updates

Receipts are prepared once a day, for campaigns that delivered and were billed in the last 7 days. A campaign that spent nothing in that window has no receipt. Each receipt covers the last 7 complete days (UTC), so the numbers stay the same while you read them. The receipt shows the date it was prepared.

If you see No Quality Receipt yet, the campaign is new or has not delivered (or been billed) recently. Check back tomorrow.

What's on the receipt

  • Summary: impressions, clicks, what you were billed, and your average CPM or CPC.
  • Before buying: the share of traffic offered on your partners that our quality filters refused before we bid. You never paid for any of it.
  • Invalid traffic: impressions and clicks that were refused after purchase and not charged to you, with the top reasons in plain words, for example Late view or click (not charged) or Click from a server, not a person (not charged). Each reason is tagged fraud filter (the traffic looked invalid) or technical (for example a duplicate or late event).
  • Viewability: how often your ad was actually on screen, compared with the normal rate on the same traffic sources. It needs at least 100 measured impressions; below that it shows as not measured.
  • Content: your billed spend split by what we found on the sites (see below).
  • Where your ads ran: your top 20 placements by spend, with impressions, billed, Not charged, viewability and a content status for each.
  • Supply mix: how your spend split across traffic sources. Partner names are withheld; sources are labelled by letter.
  • How these numbers are made: the method behind every figure.

What the content statuses mean

Status Meaning
Content checked, nothing flagged We read the site and it raised no flag. It is not a certificate: a vague page can still hide an unsafe site.
Flagged content We read the site and found unsafe content, such as pirated video or music, cracked software, gambling or adult content. The top flagged categories are listed under the bar.
Not checked yet We have not read this site yet. It is never counted as safe.
Site hidden by partner The traffic source sent its own ad-network address instead of the real site, so there was no page to check. Not assumed safe.

In the placements table these show as Checked, Flagged, Unchecked and Hidden. Hover for details, including the date a site was checked.

"Blocked since" and "not charged"

A small stop icon next to a placement means we have since blocked it on our side: Blocked since a date, or Partly blocked since a date when only part of that placement is blocked. Hover it to see how much from that placement was refused by our filters and not charged. Spend shown before the block date was charged.

What you can do about a flagged placement

  • Block it on this campaign: open the campaign, go to Placement Options, and add the site to Blocked Domains (or the app to Blocked Apps if the placement starts with app:).
  • Block it on every campaign: add it under Blacklists in the left menu. These apply to all your campaigns, existing and new.
  • Stop it automatically next time: set up Automated Rules to cut off placements that spend without converting.
  • Tell us: if you think a source is sending bad traffic, contact support with the campaign ID and the placement.
