How does PPCmate protect my campaigns from fraud and bot traffic?

PPCmate filters traffic quality at several levels, before your budget is ever exposed to it.

Supply-side enforcement

Every SSP and publisher sending traffic into PPCmate must meet strict quality standards before their traffic is accepted — no bots, proxies/VPNs/datacenter traffic, incentivized clicks, spoofed domains, or non-human sources. Traffic must be at least 90% human based on industry-standard fraud detection, and non-compliant sources are filtered automatically or removed. See Minimum Traffic Standards & Compliance Requirements for Publishers for the full policy.

Supply chain verification

  • ads.txt and app-ads.txt are verified across our supply, so we can confirm a seller is genuinely authorised to sell the inventory they're offering.
  • Supply chain (schain) is enforced, so the path between the publisher and us is declared and checkable — spoofed domains have nowhere to hide.
  • Our Supply Verification Program publishes verification results on an ongoing basis.

Continuous quality scoring

Placements are scored on measured quality rates, not one-off samples. Sources that fall below the bar stop receiving your bids.

Campaign-level protection

You can enable the Escalated.io traffic-quality integration per campaign in your campaign settings for an additional layer of fraud detection on your own traffic.

Your own controls

  • Blacklists — block specific placements outright.
  • Automated Rules — automatically cut off a placement that spends without converting.
  • Your dashboard's Placements and traffic quality cards show you exactly where budget is going — see Reading your dashboard.

Is PPCmate traffic AdSense-safe? Yes — see Is your traffic AdSense safe?

If you suspect a specific source is delivering low-quality traffic, contact support with your campaign ID and any supporting data (referrers, IPs, timestamps) so it can be investigated.
